For parents

I always start any involvement with a conversation about what you are looking for, and we make a plan together about next steps. I can visit you and your child at home or in school, depending on the situation. I have experience in working with children and young people with SEND in all areas including difficulties or needs in: learning, anxiety, autism, ADHD, school attendance including EBSA (emotionally based school avoidance) and developmental trauma.

Consultation

This involves a discussion around your concerns and an opportunity for us to think together about some possible solutions and next steps. In most cases, this will work best when we have school staff and parents to think together. If we arrange a consultation I will also meet with your child beforehand.

Assessment

I use a variety of tools and approaches to explore your child’s special educational needs, directly with them and through discussion with you and their teachers.

Reports

Following consultation and assessments I provide a write up. This could be a summary of key points and agreed actions, or a full report detailing your child’s special educational needs and a psychological perspective. Please contact me to discuss what you are looking for from EP involvement.

Fees

Each involvement is different. I will let you know the fee for involvement based on the work we agree during our initial discussion. referal fee
